Mujtaba lqbal
Mujtaba is a Member of the CFA Institute and the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARPÆ). He has over fifteen years of experience in corporate finance and consulting, having conducted several buy and sell-side due diligence examinations, advised on privatization and acquisition strategies. He has advised clients on risk management, conducted specialized investigative projects, and been involved in valuing organizations using various quantitative models. Mujtaba has been part of the team of drivers founding Alchemy Associates Private Limited, Alchemy Technologies Private Limited and Centre for Financial Training and Research Private Limited.
Mir Taimur Ali, CFA
Taimur has been associated with KASB Funds Limited since their inception and is the Fund Manager for KASB Liquid Fund and KASB Islamic Income Fund. Taimur has actively been involved in Investment Advisory and Research functions of KFL and is also responsible for generating investment ideas, structuring transactions and working on other aspects of proposed funds.
Taimur is a CFA Charter holder and an ACCA. He also holds a B Sc, Honors in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Before joining KASB, Taimur was associated with National Commodity Exchange Limited. Prior to teaching for CFTR, he has taught ACCA courses at three different colleges.
Haider Kamal Ansari
Haider is an Associate ACCA member and an affiliate member of CFA Institute. He has over 5 years experience in corporate finance, transaction services and risk management and has worked in a major financial services group prior to joining KPMG. His main area of expertise is financial modeling and valuation and has been engaged in various due diligence and valuation engagements involving preparation and review of financial models for both industrial and financial services sector entities. His focus is tutoring financial and corporate reporting, equity valuation and Corporate Finance.
Dr. Naveed Bari
Naveed Shams holds a PhD in Mathematics from Dartmouth College He has taught mathematics at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels and has worked as a data warehousing consultant in the US. At CFTR, Naveed is focus is on quantitative finance, teaching Quantitative Methods for the CRAÆ and FRM.
Hassan lqbal, FRM
Hasan is an FRM with a Masters degree in Business Administration from IBA, Karachi. He has more than 12 years experience in Commercial and Investment Banks. Hasan has extensive experience in Equity and Fixed Income Portfolio Management, Treasury and Branch Banking. He is currently working as Vice President in the Strategic and Investment Planning Division of MCB Bank. He tutors candidates for the FRM exam focusing on Investment Management and Performance Attribution.
Asadullah Khalid
Azad holds a MSc, in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School. While at Warwick he was a Teaching Assistant during the period 2003 n 2005. Between 2006 till he joined erfl9 he was an Academic Professor at Jinnah University College teaching undergraduate courses for the University of London (external programme) including Econometrics, Corporate Finance and Further Mathematics. Asad works for Standard Chartered Bank in the Financial Institutions group.
Rehana Moiz
Rehana is a gold medalist MBA in Finance from Szabist and a Bachelors in Computer Science from FAST-ICS (Pakistan). Rehana´s core areas of expertise are risk / financial management, derivative instruments, Basel II and State Bank of Pakistan's Risk Management and Compliance frameworks. She has passed CFA level II and is currently an FRM candidate. She tutors FRM candidates on Valuation and Risk Models, Credit Risk Measurement and Management and topics related to Operational Risk.
Arif Rasool, FIA
Arif holds a BA in Mathematics from University College of North Wales and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA). He has 15 years of experience as Senior Actuarial Executive with Prudential Assurance Co Ltd (UK), served as the actuary for American Life Insurance Company of Pakistan CALICO), consulting actuary for Adamjee Insurance Company Limited and is currently the appointed actuary for Adamjee Life Insurance Company Limited. He continues to provide advice to companies related to their IAS19 obligations.
Noorali Surani, FRM
Hoorah holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration and a BSc in Computer Science from FAST. He holds the FRM designation and has worked in the area of Risk Management over the last four years. Noorali assists candidates in their preparation for the FRM exam.
Mossadiq Ali
Mossadiq is an Associate ACCA member and an affiliate member of CFA Institute. He has over 5 years experience in corporate finance, transaction services and derivatives structuring and modeling. His main area of expertise is financial modeling and valuation and has been engaged in various due diligence and valuation engagements involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity and GDR offerings. His focus is tutoring financial management, derivatives valuation and fixed income securities.
Rania Mossadiq
Rania is a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. She completed her articleship at AFF Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants; a member firm of PWC. She has 4 years of post qualification experience and is currently working with Orix Leasing Pakistan Limited in the capacity of Manager, International Operations. Rania assists candidates in understanding Audit and Assurance at both the introductory and advanced levels.
Omar F. Dadi
Omar is an associate ACCA member, and has worked in multiple industries such as Oil Marketing, Investment Banking and Financial Advisory Services, for various companies such as Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, United Bank Limited, Yousuf Adil & Co., (a member firm of Deloitte) and KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co. (a member firm of KPMG International). He has taught private candidates for various Ordinary Level, Advance Level and ACCA examinations. His teaching focus is Cost and Management Accounting.
